TRINITY RIVER
The Trinity River, classified as a national wild and scenic river, is a major tributary to the Klamath River beginning in the rugged Trinity Alps near Weaverville, CA. On this trip, you will experience cold clear water, forested mountain terrain, possible wildlife sights such as eagles or bears, and amazing fishing opportunities. Come chase steelhead, chinook salmon, or brown trout with us on the Upper Trinity.

What primary services do you offer?
Guided river fishing trips targeting chinook salmon, steelhead, brown trout, or rainbow trout depending on the time of year, river location, and state regulations. We can fish from the boat or stop to wade depending on your preference and river location. Walk and wade trips can be arranged.
What techniques do you specialize in?
Let us know your interests as we cater to fly or spin fishing methods. Do not worry if you are new to fishing, we can provide all the equipment and instruction needed to get you up and running for the day.
Fly fishing: nymphing, dry fly, swinging the fly, spey.
Spin fishing: spinnerbait or live bait.
What are your terms and conditions?
We do not require a deposit, but please respect our livelihood and provide advance notice if you need to reschedule your trip. We operate during rain, snow and cold. We will ONLY cancel a trip if river conditions are dangerous and unfavorable.
How long is the trip?
A full day is approximately 8 hours, and a half day is 4-5 hours. We typically float full day trips but can accommodate half-day trips if you are short on time. We can stop for breaks and lunch or fish hard depending on your mood!
What should I bring on the trip?
- A valid California fishing license, salmon or steelhead report card (aka punch card) along with your ID
- Sunscreen, hat, camera, and any desired personal fishing gear
- Steelhead trips: warm layers for winter trips, waders, boots and wading staff.
- Let us know if you need waders or boots
Where do we meet?
We will contact you the night before to finalize a meeting location and time. Our goal is to float the most productive water for your trip.
How many people fit in the boat?
Our raft accommodates two clients, and the drift boat can accommodate up to three clients depending on age/size. Call us to discuss options. Pictures of boats are on the website.
