River Trips
Sweet Trinity Guide Service provides full day and half-day guided river fishing trips using conventional or fly-fishing equipment. We’ll float you down the river in pursuit of Chinook Salmon, Steelhead, or Trout depending on the season and California state fishing regulations. Full day trips are typically 8 hours and half-days 4-5 hours. Walk and wade trips can also be arranged.
What's Provided:
- Fishing rods, reels, baits, lures, flies, and terminal tackle.
- Lunch on steelhead trips. NO lunch on salmon trips.
- Fish cleaning.
What to bring:
- A valid California fishing license, salmon or steelhead report card.
- Extra snacks or adult beverages.
- Sunscreen, hat, camera, and any desired personal fishing gear.
- Steelhead trips: warm layers for winter trips, waders, boots, and wading staff. Let us know if you need waders or boots.

Trinity River
The Trinity River, classified as a national wild & scenic river, is a major tributary to the Klamath River beginning in the rugged Trinity Alps near Weaverville, CA. On this trip, you'll experience crystal clear waters, forested mountain terrain, possible wildlife sightings such as eagles or bears, and amazing fish opportunities. Come chase Steelhead, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon or Brown Trout with us on the Upper Trinity.

The Sacramento River is the largest river and watershed in California which begins near Mt. Shasta and flows 400 miles into the San Francisco Bay. We offer Upper Sac walk and wade trips near Dunsmuir, CA or Lower Sac river floats in Redding, CA. Come target these amazing Rainbow Trout with us.

Klamath River
The second largest drainage river in California, the Klamath River, begins in the high desert region of the Oregon Cascade Mountains, winds through the Klamath Mountains, and into the coastal temperate rain forest before emptying into the Pacific Ocean. The river is a prime habitat for anadromous fish species. We provide float trips on the Upper Klamath near Iron Gate Dam or Upper Middle Klamath near Happy Camp, CA. Come chase Steelhead with us now!
